What's included — and the extras
On crewed charters the package usually includes the boat, crew, standard meal plan and routine bay/marina stays. Billed separately: drinks, fuel-heavy custom routing, land transfers, national park or private bay fees, and gratuity (discretionary; 5-10% of the charter fee is customary).
Bareboat is a different picture: fuel, marina fees and end cleaning are on you, and a security deposit is taken before handover. When comparing total cost, look at the inclusions list rather than the headline weekly rate — two identical-looking prices can differ 20-30% in practice because of scope.
